Applying AI Events in Copenhagen
"AI research" and "AI in production" are two pretty different worlds at this point. This page collects events from the production side: how teams integrate LLMs into real products, build agents that are worth trusting, wire up RAG pipelines that don't quietly hallucinate, and ship Copilot-style features without breaking the rest of the app. Agentic coding is a particularly active thread right now, with dedicated meetups and studios popping up across the continent.
This page narrows the Copenhagen calendar to Applying AI events. It's a subset of Denmark's wider tech-event schedule, useful when you want something specific to go to in the city this month.
Copenhagen is probably the most design-forward tech-event city in Europe. UX Copenhagen and Design Matters both anchor the global design conference calendar from here, and the local meetup scene reflects that with an unusually strong weight of product-design, UX-research, and design-systems content. Beyond design, the city has a healthy fintech scene and a growing green-tech event rhythm.

We work in an industry that has a large dependency on the power running the software we build.
The power spent running our code comes from the consumption of natural resources in some form.
As an engineer, it can be hard to figure out the best choices to limit your resource usage as much as possible.
Luckily, people like Anne Currie have taken up the mantle of trying to get the numbers straight and give us some areas to focus on when creating the many great solutions that are running our societies today.
Anne is a co-founder of the Green Software Foundation and has also co-written the O'Reilly book Building Green Software. CNUG has been lucky enough to invite her to this meetup in August, where she will join us on-screen to give us her take on the current challenges we as engineers face when trying to lower our carbon emissions as much as possible.
The meetup is physical only and will be held in CodeNode’s great conference room at the harbor front in Nordhavnen.

We are looking into maybe creating a local discussion panel, but currently this has not been planned entirely. If this will not be held the event will officially end at 19.00.

SPEAKER BIOS & TOPICS:
Bjarke Daugaard is a Product Management Lead at Ørsted and has been working with design, innovation and product management for 15 years. Bjarke has built award-winning digital products and services across startups, innovation hubs, and large enterprises. His work combines user experience, technology, and business innovation, with projects including June by Danske Bank, digital pension startup Heap (acquired by TopDanmark in 2022), and Maersk Spot. Bjarke has also taught service design and management at the IT University of Copenhagen for the past decade.
Topic: Design is coming home. With the emergence of increasingly sophisticated AI tools for design, the role of the designer in the tech industry is under significant pressure. But can design really be automated? This talk will take us back to the early foundations of AI and design and try to answer the question: Is design dead, or is it coming home?
Raúl Pineda is a Founding Product Engineer at Palette, where he works on the context engine at the heart of the platform: the system that captures organizational signals and turns them into shared, queryable context for both people and AI agents. Before Palette he was an engineering lead for AI Applications at DataRobot.
Topic: Solving context drift for agents and humans. Context drift is nothing new, teams have always struggled to keep everyone working from the same picture of what's decided, what's changed, and what matters right now. However, it has accelerated sharply as people increasingly work together with AI agents and with both humans and agents acting on stale or partial information. In this session, Raúl will give a live walkthrough of how Palette provides humans and AI agents with always-fresh, relevant context to act with certainty, and he shares the lessons while learned building it.
