Bio & Health Tech Events in Europe

European bio and health tech events cover a wide stack. At one end sits deep biotech research and bioinformatics meetups; at the other, medical-device and digital-health conferences plus the healthtech-startup and investor events that have grown around cities with strong hospital-research ecosystems. This page tracks the technical and practitioner-oriented end of that calendar.

Anchor events include HLTH Europe and the AI-in-healthcare conferences (AI & Cancer, AI in Health and Care), med-tech summits like Medtech Innovation and MaxPotent Pharma, healthtech-founder gatherings such as Biotech & Friends and MedTech Startups networking, plus digital-health summer schools and longevity-focused days. On the community side, bioinformatics meetups, ML-for-biology reading groups, and techbio innovator evenings run regularly in cities with teaching hospitals and biotech clusters.

Ireland and the UK carry an outsized share of the current calendar, alongside strong activity in Switzerland (Basel, Zurich), the Netherlands (Amsterdam), Germany (Munich), and the Nordics. Brainberg aggregates this sector so the health and bio events are surfaced alongside the rest of the European tech schedule instead of hiding in sector-specific listings.

Let's talk HealthTech #3

Diepenbeek, 🇧🇪 Belgium

Healthtech sales - a reality check with no filters

Let’s talk HealthTech #3: HealthTech sales – a reality check with no filters

The mismatch, the rules of the game and what actually works

Selling to healthcare? It’s more often a clash of worlds than a match made in heaven. During this LTHT (Let’s Talk HealthTech), we’ll put the points of friction on the table. No sales pitches, just the unvarnished truth from both sides, so you go home with sharper insights and more understanding on both sides.

We’ll drop statements that will feel familiar to both startups and healthcare teams. Startups share their perspective and real experiences; healthcare organisations respond with their reality, context and the “why” behind processes and decisions. And you, the audience, won’t be left on the sidelines: think along, respond and fuel the conversation.

Expect concrete takeaways on approach & communication, decision-making within healthcare organisations, and how to get on the same wavelength faster.

After the session, there will be a networking lunch to get to know the Limburg HealthTech ecosystem further and to exchange experiences in an informal setting.

And yes... this edition is a lunch session and not a breakfast one! And don't forget, the event is in Dutch.

About ‘Let’s Talk HealthTech’

Limburg is building a strong HealthTech ecosystem, driven by a close partnership between Health Campus Limburg DC (Incubator Bioville), Jessa Hospital, Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg (ZOL), Wit-Gele Kruis Limburg, and imec.istart, bringing innovators and the healthcare sector closer together.

‘Let’s Talk HealthTech’ is a regional networking event for everyone working in and around healthcare. We welcome startups, entrepreneurs, care professionals, HealthTech companies, research institutes, policymakers and public authorities, and anyone connected to the HealthTech industry. Our goal is to share experiences, connect with the local ecosystem, and gain valuable insights, all in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
