Brainberg

Software Engineering Events in Glasgow

This is the widest category on Brainberg, because software engineering itself spans a huge range of events: language user groups (Python, Rust, Go, TypeScript, Kotlin, Elixir, Ruby, Zig), framework communities (React, Svelte, Next.js, Vue, Laravel, Django, NixOS), backend architecture tracks, testing and QA tracks (ISTQB certification courses, mutation testing, test-automation workshops), refactoring and DDD circles, hackathons, and the long tail of "thoughtful engineering" meetups that don't fit neatly under any specific stack.

This page narrows the Glasgow calendar to Software Engineering events. It's a subset of United Kingdom's wider tech-event schedule, useful when you want something specific to go to in the city this month.

Women in Tech Glasgow - OutGeekWomen

Glasgow, 🇬🇧 United Kingdom

All the badass women in tech, are you in? #outgeekwomen

We are happy to extend an invitation to our event, offering a chance to network with mid- and senior-level women pros across diverse IT domains, rub shoulders with CTOs, connect with talented dev teams, and mingle with the brilliant minds behind your favorite tech brands. This event is a match made in heaven for software engineers, data scientists, PMs and project managers, and UI/UX designers who want to stay ahead of the game in the fast-paced world of tech. While this event is centered around women in tech, we extend a warm invitation to everyone to join us.

On the company side, we have CTOs who can write code blindfolded, VP of Engineering who have a black belt in project management, and talent acquisition leaders who have recruited more people than McDonald's has served hamburgers. And on the attendee side, we have techies who know how to turn caffeine into code and can make an app out of thin air. This event is not just about networking, it's about connecting with fellow mid-/senior tech pros in the industry, sharing a laugh or two, and maybe even finding your next career move. So come join us for a unique networking event where job seekers take the driver's seat!

We will: listen to short and sweet pitches by CTOs and hiring teams and vote best pitch (who said that corporate evaluation can't be fun?), talk all things tech, network and run speed interviews, meet faces behind our fav tech brands, and see what our local tech has to offer this season.
