Unser nächstes Meetup wird schon am 24. Juni in der Grand Garage stattfinden!
Diesmal haben wir eine besondere Workshop-Edition geplant: nach einem kurzen Lightning Talk von Jakob wird uns Markus das Zephyr RTOS unter Eigenbeteiligung näherbringen (bitte um eigene Vorbereitung - siehe unten).

: Workshop - Markus Hierz - Getting started with Zephyr® RTOS, without real hardware :
This workshop is about the Zepyhr® RTOS (Real-Time-Operating-System) and its great ecosystem. With short examples and the use of Kconfig and Devicetree you will get an introduction into world of modern embedded firmware development. The examples run with native_sim on x86/x64 hardware. So no boards or devkits needed.

If you like to attend to the practical part, bring your computer and please do the "Getting started guide" (https://docs.zephyrproject.org/latest/develop/getting_started/index.html) before the workshop. The guide is done with only a hand full of commands, but multiple GB of data to download.

: Lightning Talk - Jakob Hofer - Lua powering your Desktop :
Während die Konfiguration von Desktop-Umgebungen klassischerweise entweder auf GUIs oder deklarative Konfigurationssprachen setzt, ist Hyprland neuerdings einen besonderen Weg gegangen: die Skriptsprache Lua hält Einzug und erlaubt es, seinen Windowmanager mit dynamischen Funktionen auszustatten.

Dieser Talk gibt einen kleinen Überblick über die Vorteile und Möglichkeiten dieser durchaus revolutionären Methodik und vergleicht sie mit anderen Herangehensweisen, ohne dabei in die Tiefe zu gehen.
