### What the day will look like:

1. Introduction and setting up: Find a comfortable spot in the main room, set up your workspace and grab a Club Mate, soft drink, or a coffee to get your day started.

2. Work Session: Dive into your project, seek assistance, and collaborate with others.

3. Sharing Session: Optional, but encouraged! Share what you've worked on, your challenges, and triumphs.

Please bring your laptop, and if you have, an extension cord. The space has WiFi, but having your own internet backup solution can also be useful.

Join us at this 8-hour co-working day in the main room of HSBXL, and we hope you'll have made progress on your projects, learned something new, and most importantly, enjoyed the power of community collaboration. Whether you're a freelancer, entrepreneur, or creative, we welcome you to this day of productivity, sharing, and collaboration.

You come with a laptop and a real problem. You leave with a working machine: content that ships or an assistant that saves you hours.

AI Weekend at Betacowork Brussels

Most AI events send you home with notes. This one sends you home with something that runs.

You come on Saturday morning with a laptop and one real problem from your business. You spend the weekend building an answer to it, in a room with other entrepreneurs and with coaches in the room the whole time. On Sunday afternoon you show what you made.

Pick one when you register. You can switch on the day.

1. Your content machine Produce and publish content with AI that sounds like you, not like everyone else. From an idea to something actually posted. No technical background needed.

2. Your own working assistant Build an assistant that takes over a task you keep doing by hand, on your own data and your own machine.

3. DIY, build with peers No session and no one walking you through it. You start building on Saturday morning with the other people in the room, and there is help when you get stuck.

Saturday 26 September, 09:00 to 17:30 Breakfast, then a session with Toon Vanagt where you put your whole business on one page in twenty questions. The canvas pushes back on every assumption you make. After that, Betacowork founders talk about what paid off and what burned time and money. From 13:30 you pick your track and start building, and the rest of the afternoon is yours. Drinks and open conversation at 17:30.

Sunday 27 September, 09:00 to 17:30 Build time continues in all three tracks, with the coaches moving between the rooms. The afternoon is for finishing touches and getting your thing to actually run. At 15:30 everyone shows what they built and pitches the ideas they want to put in front of the room.

Your business on one page, and the questions you cannot answer yet. Something you built yourself, running by the end of the weekend. The unfiltered version from founders in this building. And people who work on the same problems, one floor away.

Every year, somewhere around the third Saturday of September, hackers, free software users and open source adepts celebrate Software Freedom Day. HSBXL is marking it on Saturday 26 September with a full day of talks, followed by a communal dinner.
This year's theme is Organizing with FOSS: how people actually use free and open source software to run events, manage their work and personal lives, and keep control of their own data. Talks on other FOSS topics are welcome too, so expect a spread across privacy, open data and security.
