Azure Usergroup Denmark and Azure Skåne are teaming up for a full day of Azure for the Øresund Azure communities. On Wednesday 23 September we take over CodeNode in Nordhavn for six sessions, lunch, cake and plenty of time to talk with people who work with the same things you do.
The day runs from cloud sovereignty around lunch to AI security, developer experience and platform engineering in the afternoon, with speakers from both sides of the strait.
The event is free to attend. It is made possible with support from Microsoft, and with CodeNode as our venue partner.

Pierre Thoor, Onevinn. Microsoft Security MVP and Senior Cloud Security Architect. Your AI, their Attack Path: Securing Azure AI workloads with Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
Azure AI services are going into production fast, often without the guardrails that traditional workloads get. Public endpoints, API key authentication, over broad RBAC and missing network isolation all quietly widen the attack surface. This is a technical, demo driven session that takes a purple team view, pairing attacker simulation with defensive detection and investigation. It starts with Defender CSPM and how Azure AI resources are inventoried, assessed and pulled into attack path analysis, showing how small misconfigurations chain together into realistic compromise scenarios across identities, control plane permissions and AI resources. It then simulates AI focused attacks, including prompt injection and abuse of exposed API access, against a deliberately misconfigured deployment, before turning to how the Defender for AI Services plan detects the activity, how alerts surface in Microsoft Defender XDR, and how to investigate them with live KQL queries.

Rasmus Hald, LEGO. Building the foundation for AI, developer experience and platform engineering in the cloud.
Rasmus works almost exclusively with AI these days, across developer experience, platform engineering, and the question of what foundation you actually need underneath AI on Azure and AWS. In this session he shares how LEGO approaches developer experience and AI together, and what they are building to support it.

An exclusive morning session at the site of QuNorth’s Magne, built to give fintech leaders and others an early view of next-generation quant

This Magne is an intimate morning side event for fintech leaders, data specialists, investors and innovation teams who want an early look at how next-generation quantum computing may shape financial services. Hosted at the site of Magne, QuNorth’s upcoming Level 2 quantum computer, the session offers a practical introduction to what makes Magne different: logical qubits, real-time error correction, all-to-all connectivity and a full-stack environment co-engineered with Microsoft Azure to reduce the distance between algorithm design, experimentation and deployment.

For financial services, the value is not only access to more computational power, but the ability to explore new ways of working with complex data. Magne can become a testbed for problems where today’s methods are constrained by scale, uncertainty or combinatorial complexity — for example portfolio optimisation, risk modelling, fraud pattern discovery, scenario simulation, capital allocation, liquidity forecasting and privacy-preserving analytics. While many use cases will still be exploratory, the opportunity is to begin building the data foundations, talent and partnerships needed to move from quantum awareness to quantum readiness.

Following her, Anna Falk, Professor of Stem Cell Research at Lund University and Director of the Lund University ATMP Center, will share her perspective on how stem cell research can be advanced from the laboratory to clinical applications, and the collaborative efforts required to bring innovative therapies closer to patients. Anna leads a research group focused on human pluripotent stem cells and is dedicated to advancing regenerative medicine through cutting-edge stem cell research. As Director of the Lund University ATMP Center, she works to bridge the gap between academic discovery and clinical implementation, supporting the development and translation of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs).

From Star-ish Schema to Vector Search (and RAG)
Elasticsearch had its core indexing and searching capabilities continuously improved over time, and with each new feature, it became popular for plenty of novel use cases.

In this presentation, we will see a progression of how Elasticsearch can be used, starting with its initial keyword search, up to the more recent vector search. Since the structure of the data looks similar to the Star Schema after importing it into Elasticsearch, I chose to name it “Star-ish Schema”.

As a use case, we will have an example of a wildlife database, which needs to be structured and indexed in accordance with the standards of today. Finally, I will present a demo with a RAG pipeline on top of the vector search, and prompt it with some questions about wild fauna.

  Participants pressure-test their decision with AI acting as a skeptical stakeholder, sharpening how they communicate and defend a call before taking it to a real one.

  A live walkthrough of disciplined AI delivery, covering a working reference architecture for an AI development pipeline and where a human checkpoint belongs in the process. Most hands-on for data scientists, developers/data engineers, and PMs who build their own prototypes.

Bi-weekly hacking event at AAU with PROSA & CyberSkills were everyone is welcome, new and experienced hackers! We order pizza and hack!

The Hacking Evening takes place at Aalborg University Campus Copenhagen, Frederikskaj 12 Room 0.06, starting at 17:00. (Entrance next to the water)

The concept of the event is simple: We hack together. We eat pizza. We have a great time! So just bring your computer and:

• For the people who are newcomers, we do a beginner session, so you can be guided from scratch to get started with hacking right away! 🚀😊
• For the people who are experienced, we offer a Haaukins or Campfire Security CTF where you can just sit together and hack freely/independently. If you prefer TryHackMe, Hack The Box, etc, you are welcome to use a hacking platforms of your preference.

Therefore, it doesn't matter if you are very experienced with hacking or if you have zero or just a bit of experience. The event is for everyone.

Hiring runs on the same artifact everywhere: a CV and a job post, mined by dozens of tools doing the same shallow match.

The candidate never gets a say in how they're represented. The company never really sees what they're screening for.
Agentic hiring changes the shape of that exchange. When both sides show up with an agent instead of an artifact, screening stops being something companies do to candidates and becomes something both sides do with each other. A professional's agent and a company's hiring agent exchange calibrated signals directly.

We'll spend 90 minutes with Dana Aonofriesei — former VP Engineering at Trustpilot (she scaled fake-review detection through IPO), now building Tend, the agent-to-agent hiring layer — pulling this apart and trying it live.

SESSION 1: DLP, HVORDAN KOMMER MAN I GANG, OG HVILKE FALDGRUBER SKAL MAN UNDGÅ

Historisk set fejler Data Loss Prevention-projekter på grund af dårlig klassificering. Enten blokerer DLP'en for data, der ikke skulle have været blokeret, eller også blokerer den ikke for de data, man faktisk ville have stoppet.

Gennem mere end ni år har hundredtusindvis af brugere fortalt Data & More, når vi har taget fejl i vores klassificering. Nu vil vi gerne dele vores erfaringer med dig og vise dig vores nye DLP-værktøj, der er bygget på dem.

Det kan være noget af en opgave at holde styr på, hvad Copilot har adgang til, og at opdage, når man kommer til at dele noget med Copilot, man ikke burde. Vi har gjort det nemt: vi forhindrer Copilot i at få adgang til data, viser dig hvornår du deler for meget, og fortæller dig hvad du skal slette.

Både DLP og kontrol over Copilot står og falder med det samme: at man ved, hvad der rent faktisk ligger i data. Klassificering er fundamentet, og det er også der, de fleste projekter går galt.

I denne session åbner vi motorhjelmen og viser, hvordan vi klassificerer data i praksis: hvordan vi skelner mellem personoplysninger, følsomme oplysninger og forretningskritisk materiale, hvordan vi håndterer de tvivlstilfælde, der altid opstår, og hvordan brugernes tilbagemeldinger løbende gør klassificeringen bedre.
