Build a Working Prototype in 4 Hours with AI

Join us for a hands-on Vibe Coding Mini Hackathon, where developers, vibe coders, product managers, designers, business developers, founders, and curious builders come together to prototype real solutions using modern AI tools like Claude, VS Code, Copilot, Cursor, and other coding agents.

This is not a traditional hackathon. If you're curious about how products can be created in the new AI era, this session is for you.

It's a fast-paced 4-hour build session focused on turning ideas into working prototypes through collaboration between people with different backgrounds and skill sets.

You don't need to bring a team or even an idea - we'll provide challenges, and teams will form at the beginning of the session. The goal is to create balanced teams that combine technical, product, and business perspectives.

During the session, participants will:

• Form small multidisciplinary teams
• Choose a challenge or propose their own*
• Prototype a solution using AI tools
• Present what they built at the end

*To propose a challenge, describe it in the registration form or send it to the organizers before the session. We share the full list of challenges with participants in advance.

**Special opportunity! **Teams giving demos will have the chance to pitch their projects on 13 November at the AI Campfire at Epicenter, taking their prototype to the next level.

"Why agile stops at R&D — and what changes when teams are designed around customer value"
Many agile adoptions stop at the boundaries of R&D. Teams become “agile,” yet customer service, operations, and product development remain disconnected — creating delays, handoffs, and blind spots exactly where fast feedback and learning would matter most. In this talk, we share a real-world case involving four teams working on a cross-industry software platform for energy, climate, and environmental management.

Rather than optimizing R&D in isolation, we deliberately redesigned multiple teams to cover the entire customer journey, integrating product development, customer service, and operations into a single product group. This restructuring helped break down long-standing knowledge silos, shortened feedback cycles, and created a shared understanding of systemic constraints that had previously remained invisible.

Instead of presenting a polished success story, this session focuses on how we got there, what did not work initially, and which ongoing experiments continue to shape the product group today.

Welcome to the meetup Women & Non-binaries in QA! The event offers a supportive and safe space for women, non-binary people, and anyone in IT who does not identify as a man. The aim is to build community, share practical knowledge, and deep dive to quality assurance. It is also a place for open conversations about IT work and improving inclusion in the industry.

The purpose of the event is to have a sociable evening and our theme for this event is Cyber Security in Quality Assurance. You’ll meet VALA’s Seyda Baysal (Test Automation Developer) and Erika Laamanen (Test Automation Developer). This time we’ll have a short introduction to Cyber Security in QA which follows a 1,5 hour long workshop in two groups. You don’t need to bring your own computer for this workshop.

Developer Experience (DevEx) can mean different things for different people.

As a team focused on enhancing other teams' DevEx we've had to be systematic about it.
But what can a small team do to scale their work when the developers are in the hundreds?

In this talk we briefly introduce our definition and approach to DevEx at SOK.
We will share some examples of initiatives we have and things that seem to work.
The focus will be on the internal product we have built to support the growing needs of our engineers and the industry.
This is a little story of being at the right place at the right time.

Jacob is a forward-thinking engineer with a product mindset.

Having worked in many different roles, as well as founding and leading a small software consultancy, his passion still lies with helping teams and other engineers to succeed.

We will bring ~20 world-class speakers to Helsinki, Finland in the beginning of February, when its snowy and dark. Our audience is hungry for everything, from Data & AI to Development to DevOps to Security and all things Azure.

IglooConf is the biggest Azure-only conference in Finland, and very well regarded by the attendees and past speakers, with survey averages ranging between 4,5-4,7 out of 5 yearly.
