Tech Events in Jyväskylä

XmasJKL 2026 returns to Jyväskylä, Finland on 13 November 2026, with a free “Day Zero” program on 12 November, continuing its long‑running role as the Finnish game‑industry business seminar. Since 2015, the event has brought together developers, entrepreneurs, publishers, investors, students, and industry professionals for a focused day of learning, networking, and inspiration. Hosted by Peliosuuskunta Expa, XmasJKL has become a key annual meeting point for the Finnish games ecosystem.

The 2026 edition once again highlights the latest trends shaping Finland’s world‑leading game industry. Attendees can expect expert talks from renowned speakers across development, business, marketing, community, and creative leadership. Previous editions have featured leaders from Rovio, Housemarque, Geeklab, Zaibatsu Interactive, and Microsoft’s Minecraft Ambassador program, reflecting the event’s strong industry connections and practical, experience‑driven content. Sessions are designed to inspire, educate, and provide actionable insights that teams can apply immediately.

XmasJKL also offers a uniquely warm and community‑driven atmosphere. The event includes lunch, evening snacks, and drink tickets across all pass types, ensuring a relaxed environment for meaningful conversations. The After Party—open to all pass holders—creates additional opportunities for networking and collaboration. For studios looking to showcase their work, the event offers Demostand deals, including discounted tickets when booking a stand, making it an accessible platform for emerging teams.

With its combination of high‑quality talks, approachable networking, and a supportive community, XmasJKL 2026 is ideal for developers, founders, students, and anyone interested in the Finnish game industry. Whether you’re seeking business insights, creative inspiration, or new professional connections, the event delivers a compact, high‑value experience in the heart of Central Finland.
