Dublin 8, 🇮🇪 Ireland
Monthly meetup to chat about data and analytics with your people, in a nice pub. Ticketless event. No need to get one, just show up.
Hello Data Friends!
Welcome to DATA CHATS in a PUB. Expect pints, toasties, Tommy the barman and even some data chatter. You will find us in our usual spot. upstairs in the Lord Edward Pub facing Christchurch Cathedral. (Side entrance & upstairs: 2nd floor.. if you can't find us ask at the 1st floor bar). Hope you can make it for an informal discussion about all things data: work, study & exploration.
Discussion Topics: We Want Your Input!
What would you like us to discuss? The group represents a broad range of interests and experiences. Each month we do a round table of introductions & topic suggestions. and we discuss the most popular topics. Or message us here on Meetup to suggest a discussion topic,
A note on our meetup - what to expect:
***
Our meetup is an informal pub group chat about working & studies in the field of data & analytics. Technology agnostic, this is a place to meet your people. We take about 30 mins to settle ourselves, a round of introductions and then some data chats.
Are you new to Dublin or new to data? The group is usually made up of regulars and newcomers, but each member brings something to the mix, whether they are new and starting their career or studies or a bit more experienced.
So if you are new on the data scene and want some frank practical advice, or you're in the industry for longer, please come along, meet your people & join the discussion.
Data Chats In A Pub is always free to attend but we depend on the generosity of the Lord Edward for our venue. For that reason, whether your poison is water, tea or whiskey, we would ask that you support the bar and buy something.
Accessibility:
Please note that the venue is accessed via 3 flights of stairs and is therefore, unfortunately not access friendly. Let us know any time this is an issue for you, always open to venue changes to suit accessibility needs (discretely).
Reach out if any questions.
