Precision Engineering & 3D Printing brings together manufacturing professionals, engineers, designers, production specialists and technology leaders to explore how advanced manufacturing and additive technologies are shaping the future of production.

Taking place as part of Manufacturing & Supply Chain West, Conference & Exhibition 2026, the event will focus on the latest developments in additive manufacturing, the mechanical performance of 3D-printed metals and the role of precision engineering in creating more efficient, innovative and high-performance manufacturing processes. The programme will also explore how 3D printing is transforming Irish manufacturing and how lean principles can be applied within precision engineering to drive greater efficiency and operational excellence.

Inspire : Women in Engineering 2026 will host a panel of four female engineers from different sectors offering their unique insights into their experiences working in STEM. This year's panel includes:

• Sinéad Coll – Project Engineer, Danu Energy.
• Fiona Trahe – Software Tech Lead, Intel.
• Roisin Burke – Graduate Engineer, Lufthansa Technik.
• Lauren Penny – New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer, Lufthansa Technik.
• Jodie Whyte - Manufacturing Enginner, Johnson & Johnson.

This event is hosted by Explore Engineering, an industry-led consortium of 50 engineering companies in the Mid-West in partnership with Education Institutions in thebregion.
