Tech Events in Umeå

Umeå Game Conference 2027 takes place 26–28 January 2027, bringing together game developers, publishers, investors, and industry experts for three days of high‑impact B2B networking in northern Sweden. Hosted in Umeå, the conference is known for fostering deep, meaningful conversations rather than surface‑level exchanges, creating an environment where studios can pitch projects, meet decision‑makers, and explore real funding and partnership opportunities.

Powered by Agora Gaming Partners and the City of Umeå, the 2027 edition continues the successful format of curated pitching sessions, expert‑led talks, and structured meeting systems that connect emerging and established studios with global industry leaders. With the 2026 conference bringing together 77 studios from 12 countries and 34 publishers/investors, 2027 is expected to draw a similar or larger international audience, maintaining its reputation as one of Scandinavia’s most important B2B game‑industry gatherings.
